Language Basics Unit-

Review: Days of the Week, Months, Numbers, Alphabet 

Mastery of: Pronunciation

Clothing Unit Spanish-

Introduction to: Many clothing words, colors

Mastery of:  masculine, feminine, singular and plural rules, articles-a, the and some,  Verb conjugation for present tense -AR verbs (llevar), pronouns and adjective placement and agreement.

Review: Verb conjugation of -ER verbs (comer/beber)

In general students will learn sentence structure along with capitalization and punctuation in the target language.

Clothing Unit French-

Introduction to: Many clothing words

Introduction to:  Classroom Objects and Classes vocabulary.

Mastery of :  -IR present tense verb conjugation (Spanish only).  

Immigration Unit*-

Introduction to: History, Geography, Legal and Illegal Immigration

Train to Nowhere

Family Unit*-

Introduction to:  Family vocabulary

*How much time we have left towards the end of the quarter will determine how much we learn in the Immigration and Family Unit.
