The following five categories will be in the grade book:

  • Participation
  • Materials
  • Responsibility
  • Assignments
  • Assessments
The first four categories will not count towards your grade point.  They will be weighted at 0% of your grade.  They exist in the grade book however to hold you accountable.  If you are struggling with being organized, prepared or are lacking at doing your best in this class, the grades in those three categories will reflect that giving your parents at home a good idea of why your assessment scores are suffering. 


To get the most out of this class you should do the following things:

  • Bring all materials to class, so you can fully participate.
  • Listen with your eyes and ears.
  • Participate in class activities.
  • Use class time wisely.
  • Complete all assignments on time.
  • Prepare for assessments.
  • Retake tests if needed.
  • If you don't understand ask for help before it gets too late.

9th Hour

Every Monday and Tuesday from 3:15-3:45 pm.

Extra help Tutoring from 3:45-4:30.

There is a 4:30 shuttle bus to Grimes from the Middle School.
